Does this happen on X11 too, or just Wayland? Just Wayland Thanks. Happening to me as well on 5.24.5 Wayland. Also, it seems like this bug will only be triggered if the laptop screen is turned off, either by PowerDevil or by the user, before the system goes into sleep. Manually putting the system into sleep from the desktop won't trigger it. I can reproduce this, sort of. If the display was turned off before going to sleep it stays off after waking - but moving the mouse or pressing a key still wakes it.
