SUMMARY
Most of the times, people that use 2 or more layouts with unique characters (Latin, Cyrillic, Greek), their passwords are written with English keyboard layout. Instead of always typing password with wrong layout, then change to proper one and type again, it would be great if we could set a default layout for passwords.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock your screen
2. type your password
3. see that you have wrong layout
4. change to proper one
5. Type again
6. log in 

OBSERVED RESULT
wrong layout is set sometimes and I need to set back to proper one.

EXPECTED RESULT
English or user-specified layout is put to lock screen.

This has been requested before, but rejected because while it would make life slightly easier for experts who only use latin characters with the en_us keyboard layout despite having their system language be something else, it would make life much more confusing for everyone else, with the potential consequence that some people could get locked out of their systems due to the layout being secretly changed and them not understanding this and typing the wrong password.
