This has been requested before, but rejected because while it would make life slightly easier for experts who only use latin characters with the en_us keyboard layout despite having their system language be something else, it would make life much more confusing for everyone else, with the potential consequence that some people could get locked out of their systems due to the layout being secretly changed and them not understanding this and typing the wrong password. No can do, sorry. |
