Description tkocan 2022-04-25 05:50:42 UTC
SUMMARY
I'm using Kubuntu 22.04 with two (or sometimes three) monitors. One connected via HDMI, optionally one via VGA and laptop screen. I have configured task managers for every screen to show only applications "From current screen".

However, sometimes after plugging off and back some monitor, the task manager does not show windows from its screen, but instead from another one. I'm not sure about exact steps to reproduce this, but going into sleep might be also related to this.

It is very similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365246 .

This was happening also on the same notebook when running Kubuntu 18.04

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have applications running
2. plug off and plug in external monitor. Go into sleep, plug off monitor
3. plug in monitor
4. resume from sleep

OBSERVED RESULT

Task managers do not show correct applications from their screens

EXPECTED RESULT

Task manager should show only application from their screens
