SUMMARY

I've set up only one "bonjour" account in kopete for chats in my LAN. 

Settings / Behaviour / Status on startup: "Online"

I have set a starter in KDEs Autostart with commandline:
kopete -qwindowtitle %c %u --autoconnect

I tried with/without --autoconnect

On KDE start kopete is launched to tray correctly, but status is "Offline". I always have to set it to Online.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up a Autostart entry for kopete
2. create a bonjour account
3. set startup behaviour to online

OBSERVED RESULT
Bonjour account stays offline

EXPECTED RESULT
Should be online

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
