Estimated file size shown in top bar of canvas "[<filename/Not saved>] (<size> MiB)" doesn't match actual file size on device.
It's always more.

E.g. 237 MiB estimated vs 7MB in reality on device

The label shown in top bar of canvas represents the size of image in Memory not the size on Disk (which is compressed, in addition to other things).
