The bug report is incomplete. Here are some starter bits I need in order to debug this: - What image formats have you tried? - From which programs have you tried dragging & dropping? 1 png, jpg, webp. As I already wrote image format/type doesn't seem relevant. 2 From folders, from browsers, every routes don't work as far as I tested. It also doesn't seem relevant. I haven't tested other 'programs' other than browsers tho. * I'm talking about drag&dropping into a document. Drag&dropping into start screen still works with no problem. I also just noticed that drag&dropping multiple images works fine. It's only drag&dropping a single image file that is not working. Ok. It seems that it happens depending on what option you selected in Configure Krita > General > Miscellaneous. When I try drag&dropping after selecting- - 'Prefer downloading the original source' : Drag&dropping a single image into a document with [Insert as New Layer], [Insert as Reference Image] stops working. Everything else(including drag&dropping multiple images into a document) seems to work. - 'Prefer a local copy' : Everything seems to work. Although I'm unsure that I tested every scenarios.. - 'Pasted the attached sRGB bitmap' : Krita crashes/closes. But I believe there's already a bugreport(bug 452130) on this. Btw in all cases, drag&dropping into the start screen seems to work with no problem regardless of what option you select. Other problem I found : The option itself seem (only visually) resets to 'Ask each time' after closing the configuration window. Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information. Thanks a lot! Assigning now. The other half of the glitch was fixed in https://invent.kde.org/graphics/krita/-/commit/505e94f7c8e4b85c9193220182ec5a8563fdb63f I'm so glad it's fixed! Thanks for all the works. :D |
