I was messing with Time Remap then the project completely dissappeared and a new project named untitled was shown.  i loaded my previous project and found that now all my clips about half way though have the sound bit flat lined.  the auto is still there as normal but it is now shown flat.

Upon further review i checked all my saved video project files they all have this flat sound bite.  these were save before the crash.

I have found a workaround for the issue.  in the project Bin if reload all the video the audio thumb nail sound wave is now correct.

I guess what you did is the way to go. The generation of the sound waveform was probably interrupted or destroyed through the crash somehow.

Happy to hear you found a fix, closing since it works for you and the code to generate audio waveform got a overhaul recently.
