I don't think the scanning is complete. How long did the scanning process take? Is there a process still running in the status bar? Maik Scanning took about 30 minutes. The progress bar did hit 100%. When I re-launch the folders get scanned again. Here's a screenshot of the scanning. Even though the progress bar is at 100% it's still scanning folders. Nothing in the status bar. Maik Created attachment 147932 [details] attachment-1943-0.html I left digikam open overnight. No more images showed up in any of the empty folders. Relaunching digikam after every "successful" scan seems to populate a few more folders. Is there a detailed log file I can look at that shows what was processed? The log file appear only from a terminal. Under MacOS run digiKam from a Terminal following instructions in this page : https://www.digikam.org/contribute/ Gilles Caulier Noticed that Digikam will crash while indexing. Full debug log available on request.
