Can you share a screenshot of how you've configured the the "Energy Saving" page in System Settings? Is this a laptop or a desktop? What's the hardware? Created attachment 147771 [details]
power_settings
Attached a screenshot with the power settings configuration. This is a laptop Acer Predator Helios 500 with AMD hardware (sleep and hibernation are broken in linux kernel line 5). It's always connected to a power source, and always has a screen plugged in through HDMI.
> It's always connected to a power source
Oh, then can you attach a screenshot of the "On AC power" tab,? The screenshot you attached depicts the settings for when the computer is on battery power, but you say it's always plugged in.
Is it possible you adjusted the settings for the "On battery" tab, rather than the "On AC power" tab?

It looks exactly the same, save for a different number of minutes to trigger "Dim screen", as does the "On Low Battery" section. OK, thanks. A lot of things have changed since this issue was reported, including a new configuration UI and presumably many changes to the underlying power management libraries we use. Can I ask if you still reproduce the issue with Plasma 6.3.5 or later? Thanks again! ๐๐งน โ ๏ธ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
