Sorry for the late response. Do you have the logs available? If not, could you reproduce the same with the latest KStars version? I just haven’t had any success with flips lately, so I’ve been scheduling around them. It fails without ever moving the mount. I think there must be something basic that I’m missing. We’ve had a very unusual couple of months of cloudy nights, but the monsoon flow up from Baja has shifted now and I’ve gotten a couple of good nights in. I’ll get back around to it eventually, but I’m having other problems with Kstars (3.6.0) failing in various ways after I go to bed. I really want to like it, but it’s not very reliable for me.
