Description Alex 2022-03-16 00:28:44 UTC
In many applications Ctrl-Shift-U clears the input or password field and provides a quick way to correct the password when one did a typo when entering a password quickly but does not know exactly where.

Programs like su and sudo on the shell and xscreensaver support this shortcut and it would be helpful when the KDE screenlocker (and possible the login manager) would support it as well.

Clear PasswordField with Ctrl+Shift+U

It seems others do it too and it makes sense.
