(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: knode
Version: 0.7.1 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

It would be nice if the "Subscribe newsgroup" filter would also check for newsgroups which names match this ... (don't know how to descibe in English)

Example: filter = dcom
Result:
-- all groups that contain dcom in their name
plus
-- all groups that match d*.c*.o*.m* as a shell expression.

For example I want to subscribe to the newsgroup de.comp.lang.delphi often
referred to as dclm. So I enter 'dclm' in the filter text field and the
filter shows me all newsgroups that contain 'dclm' as substring (the current
behaviour) and (in addition) all newsgroups that math the shell globbing
expression "d*.c*.l*.m*".

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
