SUMMARY

Whenever i launch KDE under Wayland, i get a huge gap between the panel and the global menu. This does not appear to happen under X11. 

OBSERVED RESULT

The menus have a gap between the panel under Wayland.

EXPECTED RESULT

The menus should be at least really close to the panel (If not together).

Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (Linux 5.16.11-arch, Wayland Session)

You are using Kvantum engine, right?
I think it is the same with: https://github.com/psifidotos/applet-window-appmenu/issues/177

my guess is that this is kvantum fault but I am not sure.

Can you upgrade to 5.15.3 with the newest set of patches in the KDE Patch collection and try again?

Also, does this happen when the default Breeze Plasma theme?
