(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: konqueror
Version: KDE 3.0.2
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Very often when I am entering information such as this wishlist item I would like to be able to check the spelling (after all I do not want to look like I don't know the words spelling but English is a weird language in that respect :) ).

A very nice feature would be to have specllchecker available in Konqueror for input fields.

This is my idea how to implement it.

When spellcheck is invoked check the spelling in the input box with the cursor.

If the cursor is not in an input field (such as if I click somewhere on the page outside of input fields first) then check the spelling in all free-text input boxes on the page (do not check spelling for selection boxes and such).
