STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to Kate Settings -> Behavior -> And enable Middle-click to close
2. Open some files and try to close them with the middle-click through the sidebar "Documents"

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
The file should be closed just like when using this click on a tab

Valid wish, but requires extra setting, as tabs != document list.

Is implemented in kate master as option for that plugin.
