STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open spectacle (using print screen button or from app launcher)
2. Set to rectangular region
3. Press print screen key

OBSERVED RESULT
Spectacle doesn't minimize for selection rectangle

EXPECTED RESULT
Spectacle should minimize so that it is easier to take a screenshot

1. X11 or Wayland?
2. Do you have any non-default KWin effects active?
3. Is the minimize effect working for other windows when you manually minimize them?

1. X11
2. No only default
When I manually minimize windows they minimize fine, and the effect works fine.

This seems to be fixed.
