Possibly related issue https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=447952 Should be fixed as of today. are you referring to https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/merge_requests/1487? If so, the high memory usage was because of excessive logging, which now ends up in some log files on the system. Please check whether e.g. ~/.local/share/sddm/*-session.log look reasonable. There's only one log file in the mentioned directory, and `~/.local/share/sddm/xorg-session.log` is zero bytes. Happy to provide more info if desired.
