If the status column is blank (not marked) and you click on it, it changes to "cleared." If you click again, it changes to "resolved" and another click resets it to not marked. Does that do what you want? Otherwise, are you suggesting the "Accept" button remain available? Hi Jack, Your description on clicking the status column does work as you indicated. I'm recommending as you noted that the Accept button remain available. It's a larger and easier to use than the column. In case you edit the transaction before you accept it, simply set the status to cleared while you edit it. Accepting an imported transaction is used to remove the import flag and set the reconciliation flag to cleared. while doing so. In case you edit the transaction you take full control as user, which means the transaction is not "imported" anymore because you changed it. So no need to 'accept' it anymore as it was downloaded from the bank. Ok thanks Thomas. I now understand the logic behind the use of the "accept" button with importing transactions. In the 6 or so years of using KMM I never noticed nor used the pull-down menu in the ledger to clear or reconcile a transaction. Now I will! I'll close this request as I have a solution while editing. Thanks |
