SUMMARY
Sometimes you want to create a similar event to an existing one. Or you have unregular meeting and even custom repeat is not ideal. After copy you can modify/edit the event like before. Most information is already filled in.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. right click (no copy option found) or ctrl+c on an event
2. ctrl+v in Month View

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing

EXPECTED RESULT
identical event created (possible new date)

I would like to second that. Currently the need to be able to copy and paste events is one of two reasons why I have to keep switching back and forth between KOrganizer and Merkuro :-)

On Merkuro Calendar 23.08.5 (on Fedora Workstation).
Yes please, this functionality is really needed to use Merkuro professionally.
