I'd like the ability to take a tab in an existing Kate instance and have it open in a separate one. This is pretty useful when comparing different text files or separating files into different windows for organizational purposes. I use this all the time with web browsers and would love to have the feature mirrored in Kate. Thanks.

This will be doable in the next release (22.04 via drag and drop.
