SUMMARY
I have a bunch of files that need to be renamed that are spread over many subfolders. I can find them in dolphin. I would like to be able to just drag and drop them into krename.

Just found out that you actually can do that already, but it didn't work when I just selected all of the files in my dolphin search results. I had to manually select and drag them to be able to do drag and drop.
