In KDE 5.24, the way centering works (both with drag-snapping and "move window to center", as well as centered window placement) was changed to take panels into account, centering windows in the _available space_ rather than the screen center.

This is great for big windows! But for small ones, where the windows aren't close enough to the panels for the panel gaps to look off, they look off by not being in the center of the screen - if you have panels on the sides, they get misaligned with things on the bezel like webcams or display logos.

It'd be nice to have an option to control what "centered" means, so you can put windows in the actual center again.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a window.
2. Move it to the center, if it's not already in the center.

OBSERVED RESULT
The window is centered in the available space, with no way to center it in the screen space.

EXPECTED RESULT
You can do either.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 21.10
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Perhaps there could be two snapping points for center-dragging, one for centered in panels and one for centered in screen. That might be confusing, though, and would definitely mess up the "snap helper" desktop effect. (And a setting would still be good for any automatic centering, like centered window placement.)

Oops, should probably have set this as wishlist (can't decide whether it's a feature request or not, since it's an ask to let things go back to how it was). Doesn't look like we can change it, though.
