In the current version of Tellico, there is a "new entry" button in the "edit entry" window, that appears when right clicking an entry to edit it. This is really confusing for users. When being in the edit entry window, there should not be an option to create a new entry.

I suggest user interface improvement :

* removing the "new entry" button from the "edit entry" window
* adding a new right click menu, that appears when right clicking the list of entries (in an empty area of the window) and that contains a "new entry" menuitem (same functionality that was removed in "edit entry" above)

This removes all confusion and also lets you add a new entry without going to "collection" -> "add entry" -> "new entry".
It's faster and more logically.

Thanks for this feedback, I do appreciate it. The New Entry button in the editor is intended to facility the workflow when adding multiple new entries sequentially. I happen to do that occasionally so I like the button there :). If you'd like a button on the toolbar that directly adds a new entry, you can use the Settings->Configure Toolbars to add the "New Entry" command wherever you like.

Having the New Entry be a submenu option under Add Entry was chosen specifically to avoid user confusion over a number of years.
