I just saw double clicking an entry, opens the "edit entry" window, which seems very logically. Maybe for my feature request, there could be a new menuitem added in the right click menu of an entry (edit, duplicate, ...) that's called "open file" or "open attachment" that opens the book file. It's disabled (greyed out) when no file has been set for the entry. This idea can be made more general for all the other collections: games, music, ... For example for a game collection, the attachment can be the game's manual. I'm happy to be able to say that I believe Tellico already has the functionality to do just as you've requested. If you add a new field to a collection, of type URL, then you can enter a path to a local file or a fully remote URL. Clicking the link would then open that file in associated program. You can have multiple fields of this type if you choose, in any collection type. https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/tellico/tellico/details.html#url Double-clicking the entry won't open it, but the link in the view will be active for clicking. Please re-open this bug if there's something about the windows build that doesn't work as I've describe. Thanks! |
