SUMMARY

I have Digikam scanning my pictures folder.

My database is new, so once I want to import pictures (from SD card for example), of course my import "history" is empty so Digikam wants to import all files from my SD card.

How can I make Digikam think that all my database has already been imported, so the import feature does not import all duplicates ?

Which DK version, OS, and database type please ?

That's more or less not possible. The download "flag" from the import tool is more complex. The "flag" is a combination of a filename, date and a device ID from which it was downloaded. This can only be restored to a limited extent later.
