SUMMARY
While in the overview effect, pressing Control-w closes the selected window (like Cinnamon or Windows).
It provides a convenient and quick way to manage open windows and applications.

Not sure if this requires a different feature request, but would "right click to pin" like on the old Display All Windows fit in here too?
