When right-click on an image in the preview there is a context menu.
Please add an option "Copy As Path". this option will put in th clipboard the full path of the image.
For example, if the image is in "c:\photos\111\222\333.jpg" the full string will be in the clipboard.
This feature is inspire from the windows context window that apear in the cotext menu of a file when shift+right-click.

Just look to the new bugzilla sub components that i created, this is one for clipboard usability now...
