I have setup an alarm, is rings in the background, no popup or anything, when opening KAlarm there is no dialogue or anything, I have to terminate the app to make it stop.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Setup an Alarm
2. Wait for it to ring
3. no popup
4. try to close it in KAlarm
5. terminate the app

OBSERVED RESULT
no Popup when the alarm rings, no popup when you open the app

EXPECTED RESULT
There should be popups to control the alarm, if not system-wide, then at least in the app

There are two ways of stopping the sound for an audio alarm:
1) Use the menu option Actions -> Stop Play.
2) If KAlarm is configured to show in the system tray, you can right click on the system tray icon and choose Stop Play.

I'm therefore closing this bug with "WORKSFORME" status. Please re-open it (with an explanation) if neither of these methods work for you.
