Description irchaika 2022-01-27 16:25:40 UTC
SUMMARY
***
-If Dolphin is closed, and I connect an MTP device, I can open dolphin and load its contents. (If I open dolphin by using the mount and open notification, it will open dolphin but on the home menu like https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442663).

-If Dolphin is open when the device is connected, it'll appear like normal in places
and the notification will appear, but clicking either won't make the content appear, it'll either open as an empty folder or show a red warning saying it couldn't be accessed. If dolphin is closed and reopened after this, the content will appear.
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open dolphin
2. Connect MTP device to computer
3. Try to access MTP device from the places sidebar or the notification pop-up

OBSERVED RESULT
No access to the contents of the device.

EXPECTED RESULT
Seeing the files of the device
