Video showing the erratic behavior

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Spotify.

OBSERVED RESULT
Another taskbar icon corresponding to the Spotify window appears with the Xorg icon and I need to control Spotify with it. As you guys can see in the attached video. And If click on the original Spotify icon after it's already open, it tries to open another instance, instead of minimizing and restoring the window.

EXPECTED RESULT
Control Spotify window using its original icon.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0
Qt Version: 5.12.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It may be another issue, but, sometimes also the "original" icon has the mini speaker indicating the app is outputting sound. Sometimes not.. I didn't find the pattern on that yet.

I was having the same problem, but it was fixed by a recent spotify update, could you check your using the latest spotify version?
