In People sidebar there is a settings tab, enable Yolo V3 face detection. Then all faces in the group photo will be detected. I tested it with their image, all faces are detected. Maik Created attachment 145952 [details]

After this change, will Digikam re-scan all pictures? digiKam will not automatically scan all images. You will need to rescan any or all of the images. The Yolo V3 engine is not activated by default because it is significantly slower. Its big advantage is that it detected (almost) all faces.
