System Monitor is not responsible for the placement of the applets, it's plasmashell, moving this there. Can still reproduce in Plasma 6. This was fixed a while ago. |
Created attachment 145913 [details] Screenshot: Top: Stack, Bottom: First widget created SUMMARY Creating a very first widget via the context menu "Add Chart as Desktop Widget" places it in the center of the screen. Creating additional widgets, places them _only_ adjacent to the top border of the first widget, creating a stack of them. :-) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 0. Have an empty desktop, no icons / widgets placed on it 1. Open Systemmonitor 2. Right click on of the Network & System charts, choose "Add Chart as Desktop Widget" 3. Check the outcome, repeat step 2 OBSERVED RESULT Please see the screenshot. EXPECTED RESULT The widgets use the empty space around and do not pile up.
