existing 'View mode' button
|
Created attachment 145776 [details] existing 'View mode' button By default Dolphin shows 3 separate buttons for the three view modes: Icons, Compact, Detail. I find the images on these buttons a bit unclear, particularly for the Compact & Detail view buttons. I suspect people learn which button relates to which mode via the position of the button rather than the image on it. Hence, I thought an alternative would be to have a single button that would cycle through the 3 modes. There is currently a 'View Mode' button available in the toolbar configuration screen. When it is added & the button is clicked it displays a small drop-down menu with the above 3 view modes with radio buttons (screenshot attached). My idea is to make this button cycle through the three modes upon pressing it rather than use the drop-down menu. There are only 3 available modes to cycle through hence it would probably be a quicker to use it & people would learn the cycle. Thanks.
