Description Gabriel 2022-01-22 16:34:52 UTC
SUMMARY
When updating anything, the tasks modal will always show "Updates - Installing" at the top, which visually is in no way distinct from how system updates look. This makes it seem like the system is updating when it is only apps.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Discover on the updates page
2. Update an application
3. Click "Tasks"

OBSERVED RESULT
The "Updates" row looks like there is a separate system update in progress (see attachment)

EXPECTED RESULT
It is clear that the top row is not an update in itself, but a catchall for all current updates

SOFTWARE
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0
Qt Version: 5.15.3

I know for sure that I attached a screenshot, but it seems it didn't upload properly. Here's a second try.

This has been fixed in the upcoming Plasma 6.5 release!
