SUMMARY I'd like to change to border of active and inactive windows. This can be achieved in "~/.config/kdeglobals", e.g.: {WM] frame=61,174,233 inactiveFrame=239,240,241 However, this has no effect at all. Related post on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/lo6hj4/colored_window_borders_not_working_with_new_update/ The workaround mentioned there doesn't work for me. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. change "frame" in "~/.config/kdeglobals" 2. logout/login or restart kwin 3. check if frame color has changed OBSERVED RESULT Frame color does not change. EXPECTED RESULT Frame color changes to specified r,g,b values. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: - macOS: - Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Neon 5.23 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Border are enabled (size= normal).
