In fact it automatically hides the .desktop extensions for desktop files. :) If it doesn;'t, that means you have it set to show "/home/<your username>" instead of "Desktop folder", and changing that back will fix it. My feature request is for the option to hide them in custom folders, as well - not just the "Desktop folder". Gotcha. if we did this, we might even be able to remove the desktop:/ ioslave since its sole purpose to exist (IIRC) is providing this functionality. |
