What is your screen resolution and scaling? Can you please also provide a screenshot? Usually this either means your screen is too small or you chose a scaling too large, or you have put too many dockers on one side which stretches the window height.

Hi, thanks for that fast response!
Screen resolution 16:10 (1280x768) the recommended settings for the monitor i use.
Scaling is 100%
I didnt change the dockers from the kirta default settings.

Yes, the animation workspace won't fit in that resolution. You'll have to define an animation workspace yourself, though animating at 1280x768 is never going to be easy.

You mean in the Krita settings or in the system settings of linux?

Yeah i will invest in a second hand screen with better resolution as soon as i got some money.

By the way: Thank you so much for helping!

From "Window -> Workspace" on the menu you can choose another workspace (say Default) that will fit your screen fine.

With the animation workspace, the issue is that:

- The minimum height of the onion skins docker + overview docker + layers docker is too much to fit 720px
- The minimum width of the onion skins docker + animation curves docker is too much to fit 1280px

I think it is possible for us to reduce the minimum width of the animation curves docker (the docker title in English takes a lot of space). The height of the onion skins docker seems pretty stuck however. You won't have much canvas space regardless, so it's probably not worth fixing...

I see.
Well still good to know that its a hardware problem.
Thanks again for all the help and sorry for misreporting
