SUMMARY

Right now it is quite easy to lose your current search: when you leave application categories, the search bar is cleared. When you open another page (Settings, About, etc.), the search bar is also cleared. This is perhaps a separate issue, but Discover would be more usable if there is actually a search history. Even if it is truncated to, say, 3 items.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Search something, let's say "camera"
2. Open About and have the search bar cleared
3. Notice how there is no way to get it back
