SUMMARY
In Kmail, RSS Guard, and many other application using a HTML *view*, the rendered page is blinking sometimes (it happens more when scrolling).
I've chosen dark mode and it blinks in white, so it's very disturbing.

This seems to happen in a release in last January since everything was working last december on Manjaro (see https://forum.manjaro.org/t/latest-update-made-the-screen-blink-white/97889 )


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KMail, configure as dark mode view.
2. Read some html email
3. It blinks sometime.

OBSERVED RESULT
Blinking HTML view.

EXPECTED RESULT
Not blinking HTML view

It seems this bug is mis triaged. I have a intel GPU. I'm using X11 not wayland. And the proposed resolution in the other bug is not applicable for me (no GBM path with Intel's X11). 

Might be linked with a mesa change requiring update of the software using ASYNC GL operations and expecting the kernel to synchronize those (see here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/5731 )
