With KOffice 1.2 we have the new function: Insert->External Data->From=20 File... where you can even define the delimineter. I tested this with the new version with a simple testfile and it worked as= =20 expected with one exception: The file is not shown in the file dialog but I was able to enter the file= =20 name manually. You can try it on yourself if you use the current KOffice 1.2Beta2. As the only remaining issue in this case is that the ".log" files are not= =20 listed I change the status to wish and change the header text to a text=20 which fits better. (*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Hai I am not able to open the files that has ".log" extension. I am using "kspread" of version 1.1 KDE 2.2-11. I have to open the file in kspread by invoking "kspread" from command line itself. How to specify the separator when i invoke kspread from command line.
