SUMMARY
If one has Panels on top they come up over the search field (as shown on the attached screenshot).
Also, Virtual Desktops are not shown either (they don't show with panels on bottom as well)


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. move/create a panel on top
2. activate the overview effect

OBSERVED RESULT
Panel overlaps Search field
Virtual Desktops are not shown

EXPECTED RESULT
Search field should be fully visible
Virtual Desktops should be seen

Looks like this is fixed in Plasma 5.24!

And this was added in Plasma 5.24.
