STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have at least two documents A and B opened as tabs
2. Focus A and set view to "Single Side"
3. Focus B and set view to "Side-by-Side"
4. Focus A
 
OBSERVED RESULT
Tab A shows still the single sided view, but when you zoom in and out, it changes to side-by-side view.
However the option in "View -> View Mode" still says "Single- Sided" for A.

OBSERVED RESULT
Tab A shows keeps being in the single side view.
