SUMMARY
When english input language is selected, it appears as compose:menu in bottom left instead of English


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock system using ctrl + alt + L
2. Select english input language
3. Check language in bottom left

OBSERVED RESULT
English appears as compose:menu

EXPECTED RESULT
English appears as English

Does the same thing happen in the System Tray keyboard layout applet too? Like its context menu or OSD?

And how about with other Plasma themes' screen locker UI? Is it broken with them too?

Yes, this happens with system tray applet and OSD too.
I see compose:menu with US flag when i right click applet
I guess if applet has same issue, i should not need to test with other kscreenlocker themes?

Right. It seems like a Plasma-wide issue. Possibly the same bug as Bug 448377. I've CCd some people who can hopefully sort it out. :)

This IS the same bug, 146%. I think I briefly mentioned screen locker in that bug report too.

Anyways, thanks for the report. Resolving as duplicate?
