STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. use Wayland session
2. open Dolphin
3. drag a file from Dolphin and drop it on desktop
4. choose 'Cancel' in the context menu
5. try to drag another file from Dolphin and drop it on desktop again

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing happens in the step 5. We are unable to drag a file and drop it on desktop again until Dolphin is restarted.

EXPECTED RESULT
drag-and-drop works consistently

I'm unable to reproduce on neon unstable and Arch (Dolphin 22.04 beta).
