SUMMARY
Often there are multiple processes with the same name running on the system, which actually are completely different programs. This is common e.g. with interpreted/virtualized languages such as Python or Java. The program that is actually running can be usually determined by looking at process command line (e.g. finding a script file name).

System monitor can display processes' command lines, but it lacks the ability to quickly find such processes by typing part of command line (e.g. script name) in search field. This is possible in ksysguard, but not in System monitor.

However Plasma 5.23.5 is no longer supported by KDE; supported versions are 5.24, and 5.25 or newer.
Your distribution is responsible for providing support for older versions of KDE software.

Please do one of the following:
- Upgrade to a supported version and see if the issue is still relevant
- Report the issue to your distribution

I'm on 5.25.5 and I'm still experiencing this issue.

Deprecated KSysguard had that ability, new System Monitor does not.
