Right now, when I open a contact in, well, Kontact, the QR Code for the entry is HUGE and is really distracting from the tasks of viewing or editing fields. My request is that the size be significantly reduced, while still being usable, or hide it behind a tab. 

I would think about 1/2 this size would suffice. The QR code seems to be around 490 x 490 pixels, but the size seems to depend on the amount of info contained in the contact record.
