After switching the language (shift+alt) and enabling / disabling the grid with short keys (shift + ctrl + '), zoom / movement of the canvas does not work

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  switching the language (shift+alt)
2. show grid (shift + ctrl + ')
3. zoom / movement of the canvas does not work

I can reproduce this on Windows, but not on Linux. It is not a "critical" bug though, since it doesn't involve data loss.
