SUMMARY

After installing with the installer kdiff3-1.9.4-windows-64-cl.exe KDiff3 shows up in the Windows Apps list as version 1.9.3.

The installed kdiff3 program binary is 1.9.4 (confirmed in about dialog).

This mismatch leads to installer and version management like winget in interpreting it as upgradable - but it will do so indefinitely.
