While selection, if a selection tool can highlight for a certain time frame after a click, it will make 
selection lot more easier to work with.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "highlighting"?

I mean masking the area with a color for a second for highlight of the selected area.
The white border selection is hard to visualize while rendering.
