Can't reproduce this anymore, so I assume it got fixed at one point. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 21H1 (19044) WSL Distro: Arch Linux XServer: GWSL (VCXSRV XServer) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 |
Created attachment 144921 [details] Systemsettings being blank SUMMARY Kirigami programs don't display correctly under WSL2 and instead just show a black screen. I tested this with Systemsettings, kalk, kirigami-gallery, alligator and kasts. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install WSL2, a distro of your choice and an Xserver 2. Download any application that uses Kirigami 3. Start the downloaded application OBSERVED RESULT The application will just have a black screen, and not be interactable in any way. EXPECTED RESULT The application should start as normal. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 21H1 (19043) WSL Distro: Arch Linux XServer: GWSL (VCXSRV XServer) KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.89.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Was also able to reproduce it with this setup: Windows: 10 21H1 (19043) WSL Distro: Ubuntu 20.04 XServer: GWSL (VCXSRV XServer) KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I can't test this on Win11 for now, but since it uses a different XServer, it could be that the bug is non-existant there.
